Hello, Pretty awesome! So much miracles last week. Elder Johnson and I have been seeing The Lords hand in the work recently. Its awesome to see how He works in marvelous ways! I love the work so much!

We visited the Huang family last week together with Roger. It was an awesome time to get to know their family even better. I am so amazed with the level of spirituality that Huang di xiong has. It is crazy! He is one who understands the power and authority that he holds. Roger is amazing as well. He gave a really good spiritual thought about how faith in Jesus Christ changes the way we act and think. It really does bring a lot of hope and light in the dark path. He is indeed the light of the world. And hey the food was awesome too, ha!

Finding was really good for us last week. We worked really hard in talking with everyone of the street. Again, people rejected but there is so much hope for us because we have seen so many miracles recently. Cool thing is we met three people from Fujian in the same day. How crazy is that? Lao Xiang! Easier to talk with people from Fujian because they seem to connect with people that live in the same city as them. So I was able to use some of the minanhua that I learned growing up. I am definitely going to learn it from Ama when I get home! Haha!

So Welcome center has been a really cool thing as well! It was such an amazing experience. After a correlation meeting with the sisters, we went to the ground floor and started talking with the receptionists. After a while we noticed two guys sitting inside the welcome center room. So we started going in and talked to them. Apparently one of them is from Russia. Really interesting, he is a member and he hitch hiked from Russia all the way down to Hong kong. It took him 3 weeks and everything was for free! He said if he was hungry he would sing church hymns and people would start throwing money in. Awesome fella. He brought an Indian friend that he had just met that day. Awesome member. We started teaching the Indian and it was a beautiful lesson. Indians are the nicest people I have seen! So awesome. After teaching him, a lady came in to the building and wanted to learn more about our church. Well, what a great place and what a great timing! We gave her a tour and started teaching her the restoration. It made sense to her and she accepted the commitments that we gave. It was awesome! She seems really prepared! Miracles!!

Such an awesome experience recently. I feel like there is so much hope and direction in the Island. Member missionary works! You just have to put in the right amount of time into it. We've received some list of less actives that we can work with so I am excited to help bring these people back. Scot has been doing really great too. England seems to be doing him good. He went to church in England the other day and he loved it. It is good that he is being exposed out there and hopefully it strengthens his testimony. I am so excited for him. Brings so much joy in my heart!

And Woah! Where did time go? I am 20 years old! The last ten years was a great experience. I have done a lot and I learned a lot from it. I am excited for this new stretch in my life. I am grateful that I am well equipped and I have what I need to start strong. I know that this gospel is true. This is the greatest gift that I have received. I am grateful for a knowledge of a Savior. He lives! He has changed the way I think and the way I act. I know that his atonement is so real! His gospel really does bring mighty changes! I love this gospel! Have a great week!

P.s thanks for the wishes!

Dear All,

What a great week of work! Elder Johnson and I had so much fun!

So last week was filled with a lot of stuff. It is pretty good that Elder Johnson and I have been mixing things up. We have seen a lot of miracles from it actually.

We spent some time doing new things last week. We correlated more with the sisters in the Island and Elder Johnson and I took more time thinking about each member in our area. We were able to receive great revelation from the Lord. There are a couple of part member families in our ward and I think they have great potential. What a great miracle. We have received awesome direction from the spirit. It is pretty exciting.

Last week we spent some time door knocking as well. It was the first time I did it my whole mission. It was pretty overwhelming at first but then it turned out alright. We found a public building here in west point filled with tons of apartments. It took us an hour to knock 30 doors. Pretty fun! We taught a lesson by the door so yeah, filled with miracles! It was fun being rejected too. Some people yelled, some people were nice, and some people just slammed the door ha ha! At the end of that day we were chased by a dog, so that was pretty funny too!

Scot got confirmed. Waaaah! 我非常開心, 他已經是一個教會的成員. So happy for him. He just looks so much different now. He looks more happy! He also gives Books of Mormon to his friends. It is so nice to see him do some missionary work. I am just filled with so much hope for our investigators. We have a couple of investigators that are iterators as well, but last week as we taught them, there seems to be more hope in helping these people get baptized.

Last weeks zone training was great as well. There was a lot of counseling. It was so much better because everyone was giving insights and everyone was edified by the spirit. It was fun too because the Filipina sister did a skit. I think that is one thing that I have learned recently as well. Counseling is so important. We've done quite a bit of counseling and we have seen a lot of miracles out of it. So it is really worth the time to plan and talk more for each individuals.

This work is so true! I know that the savior lives. I am so grateful for a knowledge of Gods love for His children. I have felt His love through out my mission. His church is restored, I am so grateful for living day prophets as well!

Have a great week!

HK 72 Eternal Fruits.

Hello Everyone! Last week was awesome! Definitely a great week!

So Scot entered into the waters of baptism! It was an awesome service filled with the spirit. The ordinance itself was really smooth! As he came out the water tears filled my eyes. The last 8 months teaching Scot was so worth it. I am really excited for him as he now enters into the path towards Heavenly Fathers presence. His testimony was awesome, he talked about how he came in contact with the church. Heavenly Father really does prepare people and I believe that Scot is one of them. His family will be blessed, now we are going to help his wife. What a lovely family.

It's awesome that the things that I am doing right now has eternal fruits. I know that every effort placed into the work is not wasted. Life is so much better when placed into an eternal perspective. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life. Sharing it is even more amazing. I have seen the gospel change in peoples lives. It is real! The gospel really does change people, the process is amazing! I really do know that we can access the powers of Heaven if we ask Heavenly Father sincerely. We just have to accept his will at all times and move on. Prayers are amazing as well. It really does work!

HK 71 I Knew It.

On July 4, 2016 at 11:25 AM Jayzon Christian Sy <jayzon.sy@myldsmail.net> wrote:

大家好! WAAA 我最近非常好! 最近又特別多的事發生了. 我希望我所寫的畫能夠給你們一個好的時間.

So yeah, last week was pretty awesome. Elder Blaine Johnson and I had such a great time last transfer. I learned a lot from him. He is such a powerful Elder. We helped a ton of people come unto Christ. It was amazing how we saw the little tender mercies that Heavenly Father has given us. So Yeah, I have a new Companion. His name is......... Elder Johnson! Yeah, another Elder Johnson. 他叫將長老. He is such an awesome guy! He is from Idaho and his family is huge! He has 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Most of his brothers and sisters are married and have kids too so its pretty crazy looking at his family picture. I am very excited to work with this talented Elder this transfer!

So yeah Scot. I have been praying and fasting that Scot could progress towards baptism. He was pretty shaky last week and that made me anxious as well. BUT, I really do have hope for this man. Every time I plead with Heavenly Father for a miracle and a change of heart, I receive so much peace that everything will be alright. This is Scots time. Seriously, praying super hard for Scot has helped me become a better person as well. It really is true, everytime you invite others to come unto Christ you naturally bring yourself towards him as well. I love it, I think Heavenly Father has given such great opportunites to come unto Christ by teaching Scot the last 8 months. So yeah, Scot passed his baptismal interview and we announce that he is going to be baptized next week. I am super excited for him. He is definitely going to be a future leader in the church. So yeah, please continue to pray for him and his family.

I was studying about obedience last week and as I was pondering about the importance of total submission to the Fathers will, I thought about commandments. If there were no commandments given to us then obedience wouldn't be a thing. So I really know that Heavenly Father loves us. He gives us commandments so that we could grow. If we choose to keep his commandments then we grow, if we don't we fall but He always catches us and that is where repentance takes place. Man, I am so grateful for the Saviors atonement. He lives, I know it!

I have been very tired and hungry recently. This is probably what the apostles of Jesus Christ felt back then and now. Wa, its crazy. The cool thing is how everything is enough energy you have for the day. It is awesome. I love the work so much I know that this work is true. This work is amazing and full of miracles. I know that there is so much more to learn! I am excited for the last 6 months of my mission. This will be awesome!
