Hello how is everyone? Last week was fun. The last four days were pretty nice. It has been raining a lot recently, getting soaked is pretty fun, ha!

So we had exchanges last week, Elder Grayam came to the area. We did street contacting the whole day. It was fun, we met a couple of nice good old people. I've been meeting all these people from Fujian, they are everywhere! (Represent!) So fun teaching these people, sometimes I wonder if some of these people are related to me. Scot has been doing great, he has been progressing really well recently. THe spirit was so powerful during the lesson we had with him last week, we talked about the atonement and how the atonement can help him overcome his weaknesses and trials.

Serving the WeiDuoLiYaSan FenHui has been amazing. I love the members. So much good teachers and great examples to me. I have grown to love the branch and its members. We are working really hard with helping them fulfill their missionary responsibilities.

It has been a trial recently. Investigators are not picking up their phones. It feels like we ran into a wall recently. Pretty tough. These experiences are super humbling. I have learned a lot from my mission recently. The patterns I have seen are pretty clear to me. There is a lot left tho. I have so much more to learn for the remainder of my mission.

One of the great patterns that I have seen is the development of my testimony. As I read my scriptures everyday and pray, my testimony gets stronger. I am so grateful for a knowledge of the savior. I am so grateful that I get to share what I believe to be true with the people that I meet everyday. I love the Savior. I know that he lives. His atonement is real. We all fall short of God's glory, therefore we have to rely on the savior.

I hope you have a great week.

HK 60 Always Have The Temple In Your Sights.

Hello, How is everyone? I just got out of the temple, what a way to be revitalized. I love the temple, it indeed is the house of God.

Last week was special, we were able to help a mainlander enter into the waters of baptism ones again. It has been a great privilege to be able to teach these people. They are very prepared. All we have to do is review what they have learned. It's really special, the guy we taught said he wants to go on a mission as well. How great is that? Just so much potentials with people we have taught. They are indeed the future leaders of the church.

Scot has been progressing really well. The more we meet with him, the more we see him change. He has been changing a ton recently. As we invite this person to pray and read the scriptures his countenance just changes, what a great blessing to see this person changing. We are very stoked with him, we hope he will be prepared by the 15th of may. Please pray for him.

Last week we really listened to the spirit, we are trying to follow the spirit at all times as we find and teach. We have seen great miracles. The other day as we were praying for where we should go we both had the same answers, pretty crazy.

So yeah, I will leave it short. I just one to bear my testimony again of Jesus Christ. He lives. He is my savior and my redeemer. He is central to what we do, and you know what? It is true, He is indeed the person that is central to what we do. Without Him, all we do will be in vain. But, I know that He is really the core of everything. I am so grateful for this knowledge. I am so grateful for Heavenly Father. I just feel His love all the time. What a great privilege it is to grow up having a knowledge of Him. He is indeed our father in Heaven.

Have a great week!

HK 59 The 186th Annual General Conference Rebroadcast.

Hello! So much spiritual experiences last week. We had Mission Leadership Counsel and General conference. Man, Those were crazy days, my brain is pretty sore right now. Today would of been a great day to go to the temple, the AC broke tho so there is no temple day today...

This week we were able to meet with most of our investigators and our RC's and LA's. The lessons we had were filled with spiritual power. Scot is awesome! We met with him twice last week. His desire to learn has been great and he's been more receptive recently. That was a miracle, he finally understands the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A miracle this week was when we had to move Scot's lesson 30 minutes back because district meeting ended a little bit later. Well, we got to wan chai 30 minutes before the lesson. While we were calling people, a man named Mark came in and asked for a priesthood blessing. We gave him a priesthood blessing and he thanked us so much. He told us to remember that day. We invited him to general conference and he came. We sat with him for a session, he definitely learned a lot as the prophets were talking about being a father. That was a great experience.

Well, let me share a couple of thoughts that I've had from general conference. I just love the simplicity of the message from President Monson. Those short 4 minutes were powerful messages from the Prophet! He indeed is a prophet. The Priesthood of God is here, the power of heaven is upon us and we have to be worthy to be able to exercise it. We choose our destiny. The decisions we make now have a lasting impact for the eternities. Helping the needy was one thing that stood out to me as well. We have to have the desire to help our brother and sisters who are in need of our help. I loved the testimonies of the apostles during the conference, you can just see the spiritual mantle that they have. It was ended with an amazing talk by Elder Holland. We really do have to just keep trying. We are not perfect, but we have to try! Well, let us all apply what we have learned from conference.

I had a couple of questions right before conference and all of em were answered. It was great, the conference was filled with so much spiritual lessons. I am so grateful for their examples and wonderful talks. My testimony has been strengthened again. I know that Jesus is the Christ and he is indeed my savior and redeemer. I am so grateful to be part of His work. I will be forever grateful for those 2 missionaries who taught mom and dad. What else could I ask for more? A happy family anchored in the gospel. I love it.

Have a great week!

HK 58 Name Guessing In Kowloon Tong.

Hello everyone! Great week, it was a test of faith!

So last week all of our investigators didn't pick their phones up. So, it turns out all of them went back to mainland for the holidays. Well, we hit the pavement hard last week. It was great, we were able to find a couple of great potentials. Elder Forston goes around trying to guess peoples family name. And he guessed one right! He said " Ni hao Chen Xian Sheng, Ni Jin Tian Zen Me Yang?" The guy freaked out and it was a great way to start up an awesome conversation. So, finding has been really fun recently, just gotta have fun and talk to as much people as you can.

We had a great Leadership training with President Lam as well. We were able to talk about some concerns about the mission and we revamped some systems with in the mission.

Church last Sunday was awesome. Partaking of the sacrament is very important. It is an expression of our willingness to the savior. I was pretty disappointed last week with investigators not home and people on the streets not caring. Well, I would take the experience last week as something to be learned from. I was studying about faith last week and how I can apply it into our ministry. Then a sentence popped into my mind as I was studying. "Faith in the will of the father". Then It reminded me of a talk by Elder Bednar where he asked this man suffering from cancer if he had the Faith not to be healed and that he has an important mission in the spirit world. Do you have the faith in the will of the father? There are tons of days on my mission when its super hard. Giving your all but not seeing the fruits can be deteriorating BUT I have the faith. I know that the efforts I am giving are not wasted. I just have to continue working hard and giving my all. Submitting my will to the Father. I just love Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for the many things that I have learned.

Next week will be awesome tho! With new investigators coming in with our old investigators I think we will have a great teaching experience next week.

I am so excited for general conference! Have to prepare myself for the many revelation that I can receive! I know that what they know is true! Christ truly lives, his teachings are applicable and has been a blessing. I am so grateful that we are Blessed with LIVING DAY PROPHETS as well. Heavenly Father continues to speak with us!
